Hours & Attendance Policies
Middle School
Middle School Hours
- Middle school entrance is through the main door at the front of the building
- Open door hours: 7:30 am-8:00am
- Students will start class at 7:45 am
- School day ends at 3:45 pm
Tardies
- If a student is tardy, they must enter through the school’s front entrance and report to the main office to obtain a tardy pass.
- Appointments with doctors and dentists should be planned during vacation periods, after school hours or on weekends.
- If a student has to leave school early, their parent/guardian must sign them out of the front office and later provide a note to justify early release.
- Students will not be released to anyone that isn’t listed on the child’s
emergency card. Identification will be requested. - In the event of an unforeseeable emergency and/or illness, please come and get your child’s homework so that it can be made up to avoid receiving a zero for missing day(s).
Things to Remember
- A Doctor's note must be turned in once a student is absent 3 or more days.
- Attendance is very important, if students are consistently absent theycan
be sent to court.
High School
High School Hours
- High school entrance is through the back of the building
- Open door hours: 7:30 am-9:00am
- High school students will have “A/B” schedule
- On Monday, Wednesday and Friday students will start class at 8:45 am
- On Tuesdays & Thursdays students will start class at 8:15 am
- School day ends at 4:00 pm
